01/01/2017 2017-1 Hemlock RD 322 – Motor vehicle accident with injuries
Upon arrival, it was reported that there was a vehicle submerged under water. Company 16 was tasked with establishing divers to check the vehicle for any signs of life/body prior to moving. Diver 1 and Diver 2 entered the water and Diver 1 was unable to see any kind of life. Diver 2 was cancelled. Per Command, Diver 1 was to assist the tow company with hooking up the car for removal. Law Enforcement checked vehicle again after removal and confirmed no signs of a body. Company 16 went available per Command 19

Company 16 was dispatch to assist at a Search with K9 teams on location. Marine 16 and Marine 16-1 were deployed to search the water with the K9’s and handlers.Marine 25 (Exeter Fire Dept.) was dispatch to assist with the search.

Company 16 was dispatched to continue the search of a body with the K9 teams. Marine 16 and Marine 16-1 were deployed to aid in the search.

Law enforcement was called due to the body being recovered and at that time the county coroner was called to the scene
